CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 380-325 BC. Diobol (Silver, 12 mm, 1.14 g, 7 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with a hippocamp with curved wings on the bowl. Rev. [TAPAN]TINΩN Herakles standing right, strangling the Nemean lion; between Herakles' legs, Κ; to left, club. HN Italy 914. Vlasto 1254-9. Very minor corrosion on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
